Andrea Collins and Kevin Eberle are planning the annual Edgemont Rally in Edgemont, SD and have joined USLMRA as an Affiliated Club. Says Kevin:
We’re starting with 6 classes: Open Adult Stock, IMOW, CP, BP, Open Kids Stock, and the Open Walk Behind. Basic Safety Regulations and Modification Regulations apply. First through Third Trophy Awards for each class! NOTE: Classes are open to change, keep checking for additional information!!
Even if you’re not racing, come hang with us, we’re a friendly group!! All of our events, from Mower Racing, Mower Obstacle Course to Mud Truck Drags are family oriented and meant to be FUN!!
Mucus Mafia Racing participates in mud truck racing, tough truck competitions, and ATV mud drags/obstacle courses all over the tri-state area. We all grew up here in Edgemont, and are a tight knit circle of friends. We don’t just focus on racing, however. We try to involve ourselves in the community as much as possible. Our most recent adventure was sponsoring a benefit ATV Run/Chili Feed for a family with medical needs something each one of us is very passionate about.
As a whole, the Mucus Mafia also makes up the entire Redneck Rally board and does all the work on Mud Hill, where the Rally is held each year. We’re very excited to add lawn mower racing to our schedule this year!”
This year (2011), our 5th annual Edgemont Redneck Rally event will be held July 1st – 3rd. The Redneck Rally has several events including ATV mud drags, Texas Hold’em tournament, Hillbilly Golf, Granny’s Poker Run, ATV Obstacle Course, Arts and Crafts fair, Redneck Ride parade, Lawnmower Obstacle course, Mud Truck Drags, Redneck Appreciation Dance, Dutch Oven Cook-off, Lawn Tractor Pull, Vintage Tractor Pull, and a Tough Truck Competition.

Welcome to Big Dog Racing, a USLMRA Local Chapter based in Rapid City, South Dakota, with a home track in Chadron, Nebraska.
“Our chapter started in 2000 and within a couple of years we had a bunch of AP mowers running,” said Big Dog Racing President Casey Eaton. “By 2006 we had moved on to more SP machines and in 2007 we had a strong showing of BP mowers. Then we started having monthly races at our permanent track and about 30 mowers would come out for each event. “
Big Dog Racing runs on a home track in Chadron, Nebraska but plans to travel to racing venues in other locations in Nebraska and South Dakota.
“The Chadron track is a road course that has many options, “ said Casey. “My dad, Roger, has proudly set up a different track for every race. We currently leave the Starting Line in an Inside / Outside form and run two races counter clockwise and one clockwise. The east end of the track is 1/6th mile banked oval. We have a water tank that we use to make a good racing surface and to keep the dust down. My dad, Roger and I, couldn’t have made all of this happen with out the support of our racers and area. Let’s mow!”
