The USLMRA is happy to welcome the Southern Pride Kartway as a new Affiliated Club. Jason Owens and Ginger Owens have owned the facility for nine years and have run a successful Friday night karting series. Now, lawnmower racing will be added to the racing action.

“All mowers are welcome,” said Jason Owens. “We have a real nice track, 900 feet around, track officials, tech men, top notch flaggers and a dedicated transponder system for racers. We’ve been talking to lawnmower racers and think this will be a great place to race. If this takes off, we can race every Friday night. We hope to see everyone come out and enjoy themselves.”

The Southern Pride Kartway will follow USLMRA safety guidelines, but like all USLMRA Affiliated Clubs, class structure is open. “We’ll run whatever classes make
sense to our racers,” added Jason. “With so many lawnmower racing groups in the South, we’ll be able to create classes based on racer input. We will ensure that the races are safe, that racing is fair and honest and that rules will be followed. We do it right.”
