The STA-BIL Monster Mower features a V-twin custom racing engine that puts out 40 horsepower; chrome headers, brush guard and roll bar; delta-style wing; 31" x 15.5" x 15" tires and full four-wheel drive independent steering. The STA-BIL Monster Mower will be on display at the October 2 race, but will perform for the first time ever at the October 3 TLE Rodeo Finals.

"STA-BIL Tire and Lube Express Mower Mania" is sanctioned by the U.S. Lawn Mower Racing Association (USLMRA) and will feature racing in four classes with speeds reaching 60 mph.  Cutting blades are removed, and a sense of humor is not required, but strongly encouraged.

"It's the natural sport for Arkansas - The Natural State," said Bruce
Kaufman, "Mr. Mow It All" president of the 600-member U.S. Lawn Mower Racing Association.  "We're thrilled to bring America's fastest mowing sport to Wal-Mart and let folks join the fun.  The mower the merrier!" Racers competing in Arkansas are veterans of the STA-BIL National Lawn Mower Racing Series, a nationwide circuit that features riding lawn mowers racing in four road track classes including Stock (10 mph), IMOW (25 mph), Prepared (50 mph) and Factory Experimental (60 mph).  All cutting blades are removed for safety.  There is no purse money as racers compete for trophies, glory and bragging rights.  The STA-BIL Series is sanctioned by the USLMRA, which has more than 600 members and a network of local chapters across the USA and Canada.

The USLMRA is sponsored by Gold Eagle Co., maker of automotive aftermarket brands including STA-BIL Fuel Stabilizer, which keeps stored gas fresh for quick, easy engine starts, 104+ Octane Boost, HEET Gas-Line Antifreeze and No Leak Automotive Sealers.  Gold Eagle founded the USLMRA on April Fool's Day 1992 as a promotion for STA-BIL, and has seen lawn mower racing become a nationwide grassroots motorsports phenomenon.
