The USLMRA Local Chapter (LC)
The best formula for success when forming an LC is creating an organized structure (local board) with other mower racing enthusiasts to help you. You are required to furnish a copy of your organizational structure to the National Office.
As a new LC you agree to abide by and enforce the USLMRA mower building and safety rules. You also agree to require all of your LC members to join USLMRA. You also agree to not promote, organize or publicize any non-USLMRA race.
As part of our dual membership program your LC will be rebated part of the annual USLMRA dues fee, when and if you have an actual organized structure and provided you meet the requirement of holding three (3) races in a given season.
This is made clear in the LC Charter. One of the benefits to you, with all of your racers beicoming USLMRA members, is that their personal and racing information is being kept on an USLMRA database. This information is available to the LC(s) upon request.
