As most of you know, our very own Engine Answerman – Bobby Cleveland – set the land speed record for the World’s Fastest Lawnmower Driver on July 4, 2006 by going over 81 mph. In May, British driver Don Wales ‘stole’ this title in Wales.

Well, Bobby has made some modifications to the 104+ brand mower, and will be heading back to the Bonneville Salt Flats the weekend of September 24-26 to reclaim what’s his. His goal is to go 100 mph (or maybe 104?). Check out the video:
